Is a thumbs up emoji an acceptable Thank You?
I recently purchased a $25 wine tasting ticket for a friend’s friend. When I texted her to let her know about it, I received just a thumbs-up emoji in reply. I can’t help but feel a bit slighted by this response. Is using a thumbs-up emoji an acceptable way to say thank you these days, or should I expect a more meaningful acknowledgment?
