Problem with lateral thigh trainer?

I just got a new lateral thigh trainer but the paddles stuck at the same level. I tried to step hard on it but it didn’t move at all. I can actually lift up the paddle itself by using my hand but then it falls back on the base again. Someone said we may have to unlock it. How can we do that? I have contacted the company I got it from and no reply at all. They seem to stop selling this LTT on their website too. Is there a faulty with this product? Please help.

It is likely the paddles are just stuck from being stationary for so long in the box, and it is normal for you to be able to lift them without effort. To unstick them turn the speed setting as far as you can to fast then try standing on one side (you might want to hold onto a chair or something). Put your whole weight on one side, it should unstick. If it doesn’t, try standing one foot on each side and put your weight on each as if you were doing the stepping motion. If it still isn’t working try doing the same on different speed settings, but it may be that you aren’t putting enough pressure on it.If it still doesn’t work you could try returning it to the company you bought it from. If it is working, remember to always set the speed to fast when it is being stored or you’re not using it, this will prevent it sticking in future.Hope this helps and you get it sorted.... Show More
