Recieve vs receive?
"Which word is spelled correctly: 'recieve' or 'receive'? I usually type the first one, and my spellcheck never flags it as incorrect, but someone recently told me that the correct spelling is actually the second one. Can someone clarify?"

Which is spelt right?
I always type the first and am never corrected by spellcheck but I was told by someone that it’s actually spelled the second?
I before e except after c when the sound is e.
The correct spelling is Receive.

btw, and as mentioned above, it’s receive (i before e blah blah blah)
