Rose tint my world?

I know this phrase is from "The Rocky Horror Show," but I'm unsure of its meaning. Could anyone help clarify this for me? Thank you!

I have heard the saying "are you seeing the world through rose tinted glasses" Meaning are you seeing the better picture not reality. So I would think rose tint my world means make my world(life) clearer, take all the bad things out so my life does not sum up to what it really is.

Looking at the world with rose tinted glasses means to see it "sugar coated" Seeing the best of it.

It probably comes from the expression: to see things through rose tinted spectacles, meaning seeing things in the 'rosiest' way possible or basically being optimistic.

Well, when someone sees the world through rose colored glasses, it means they see everything as better, cleaner, nicer than it really is. So, this would be a request to make me see life as better than I do now.

Rose Tint My World is the fourteenth song in the cult musical The Rocky Horror Show and its film counterpart The Rocky Horror Picture Show. It is part 1 of 3 of the Floor Show Medley towards the end of the show.

The song is sung by Columbia (played by Nell Campbell in the film), Rocky (played by Peter Hinwood and sung by Trevor Horn in the film), Brad (played by Barry Bostwick in the film) and Janet (played by Susan Sarandon in the film).

The song finds the characters dressed in corsets, fishnets, boas and all-white face makeup. The lyrics of each verse describe the character's descent into the sordid world of debauched sex, as enabled by Frank-N-Furter.

It like the saying -- looking through rose colored glasses. It means you're not seeing things too clearly or for what they really are.

Or simply a choice to be optimistic (in the context of Rocky Horror): "Rose tints my world, keeps me safe from my trouble and pain" may be a statement of fact by the characters; i.e., that despite the confusing events of that night, and the tragedies, they would be alright in the end if they just stayed positive.
