Seasonal changes create layering in glaciers known as rhythmic layering.Explanation: The name 'rhythmic layering' comes from the shape of the layers which appears to be like the difference in the octaves of different musical notes displayed on the rhythm monitor. The accumulation and melting of the glaciers is not uniform. At some spots, the melting is heavy and at some spots the accumulation of ice is heavy. This results in the formation of rhythm like layers in the glaciers.
