Should I put tinted moisturiser on before foundation?

If I put tinted moisturiser on below my foundation would it stop it from drying my skin out so much and would it keep the foundation on for longer?

Think about it this way…you use foundation that matches your skin color, right? If you moisturize with tinted moisturizer you will change the color of the skin the foundation matches. Use a moisturizer underneath your foundation to keep your skin hydrated. If you foundation does not stay on as long as you would like, consider something like Estee Lauder, or Clinique. Both brands have foundations that are made to outlast your schedule, but beware because they will clog pores. I use MAC studio fix liquid, primer, and moisturizer. Primer will not only help the foundation stick, it will minimize imperfections. Loreal makes a pretty good primer, its pretty new on the market but try it.

You dont need to moisturise and prime! as long as you have a good moisturiser that suits your skin type then you will have a great base for makeup. If you feel as if you want your makeup to last longer you can buy powder primer from mac to dab on top!

Don’t use both. Either use the moisturizer, or some moisturizing foundation. You do not want to clog your pores too much. I recommend the moisturizer.
