I plan to submit my two-week notice at my job today, but I'm confused about whom to address it to. Should I give one notice to HR and another to my supervisor? Should I address it as "Dear HR" and "Dear [Supervisor's Name]," or do I only need to notify one of them? I dislike my job and don’t have another position lined up, but I can’t handle the drama and stress anymore. I want to avoid just not showing up, as I know that would be unprofessional. What is the simplest way to write my notice without providing an excuse?

My last day of employment will be —————.  Then you tell them how you enjoyed learning new things and you have gained from the experience.
Never ever bad mouth them, or at a new employer.  When you bad mouth someone, they expect you to bad mouth them later.
Every job you have in your life will annoy you.  Get used to this.  That is just how it is.  Think we are made that way.  But you still have to pay the bills.
