Sims 3 stuck “saving…” HELP?
My game has never had any problems, and I haven't added any new custom content (CC). Suddenly, it's stuck in a saving loop and never actually saves (I checked the saved files, and they don’t appear). To troubleshoot, I started a new game to see if the issue persisted, but it saved fine. However, when I went back to my old game, it still wouldn’t save.
How did the file suddenly become corrupted? I’ve put so much effort into this game, and I’m really frustrated 😞. I also tried using "Save As" instead of "Save," but there was no difference.
What can I do to fix this? Any help would be greatly appreciated!

I am having the same exact problem, it started a few days ago. I click save and i get the save loop forever and it never saves it. I have tried the delete file and loaded it with the backup file which temporarily fixed the problem and it allowed me to save, but the problem was back the next day. I have tried to find the solution to the problem online but it seems that not a lot of people have the same problem so i can’t find a solution. You are not alone! I hope someone finds a way to fix it!
PS: I don’t know if this is relevant to the problem but i have the expansions *Late Night *Seasons *World Adventures *Super Natural *Generations. And the problem started when it was snowing during winter time for the 1st time since i got Seasons.
Sounds like your save is broken. In my experience, it’s just something the game does because of bad coding. What you can do is go to Documents/Electronic Arts/Sims 3/Saves folder. There you should see some files. Look for your save file. It’ll look something like this: Name.sims3 With Name being whatever your save is called. Delete that. Now, there should be another file that looks like: Name.sims3.backup The name will be the same as the other file, edit the name of that file and delete the .backup part at the end. It will put your file back to it’s last save point, depending on how often you save, you might lose quite a bit, but it’s better then losing everything.
