sin x = 1/4
x = Arcsin (1/4)
x ≈ 14.48°
General solution: x = n * 360° + 14.48°, n * 180° – 14.48°
=> [-180°, 180°] :
x = 14.48°, 165.52°
Without a calculator :
x = Arcsin (1/4)
in [-180°, 180°] :
x = Arcsin (1/4), 180° – Arcsin (1/4)
