"Deus velox nex" is a Latin phrase whose liberal translation refers to God and a swift, albeit violent, death, consistent with its usage in the movie Drive Angry.
In the 2011 film Drive Angry, there is a scene in which "Milton" (Nicolas Cage) fires a bullet with "Deus velox nex" engraved on it.
Daughter of Leto and Zeus, Artemis was known as the goddess of virginity, childbirth, and, oddly enough, swift death!
