The 10 kg's weight , 98.1N, has two components.
The component down the plane is given by Sin 40° = x / 98.1
x = 98.1 Sin 40° = 63.06N
The 5kg mass is creating an opposing force, up the plane, of 5 x 9.81 = 49.05N
Therefore, the resultant force down the plane is 63.06 - 49.05 = 14.01N
Using F = ma and remembering the 5 kg is being pulled up too, 14.01= 15a
Acceleration = 14.01 /15 = 0.934 m/s^2
