Where k = rate constant; A = arrhenius factor; Ea = Energy of activation; R = gas constant; T = Absolute temp.(K)

k1 = A e^-E1/RT

k2 = A e^-E2/RT

OR k2/k1 = e^(E1 - E2)/RT

OR ln k2/k1 = (E1 - E2)/RT

Here let k1 = k then k2 = 10^6k; E1 = 108 kJ/mol = 108000 J/mol; E2 = ?; R = 8.314 J/mol; T = 298K

Hence ln 10^6 = (108000 - E2)/(8.314x298)

Or 13.81 x 8.314 x 298 = 108000 - E2

Or 34215.27 = 108000 - E2

Or E2 = 108000 - 34215.27 = 73784.73 J/mol = 73.78 kJ/mol
