URGENT! How to remove Sun-In?

I used sun-in on my hair two days ago. I have naturally light brown hair. It has turned my hair into this revolting orange colour. I can not dye it back to brown because my family won’t let me. I urgently need help. Anyone with info on how long it stays or natural ways to get rid of it/darken my hair – please help me!!! I’m desperate to get rid of it.

sadly sun in can not be removed without dying over it….sun in contains a mild peroxide (the main part of blonde hair dye) Sun in is a bad product for people with dark hair to use, as picks up the darker hair pigments turning them orange. I know you said your family won’t let you dye over it so it is kind of hard to suggest something for you…however you could buy a blonde toner which is purple in colour it changes the brassy orange pigments to a nicer colour, it is also avaliable in a purple shampoo. As far as I know, the only way to darken your hair will be to dye it. Try a henna dye if you are not allowed to use bottle dyes.My friend did the same thing and her hair was a horrendous orange colour so she had to dye it dark too.

You can’t get rid of it. Sun- in is not a dye, it is a bleach. Your only option is to bleach the orange out or dye it back. There is temporary hair color that washes out daily or weekly. maybe your parents will let you use that.

this happened to me. and it doesn’t go i’m afraid.. you could use a semi-permanent tint, as this sometimes stains hair back or try washing it in ketchup as this can help remove any brassiness, but just keep washing it and don’t put anymore in and then it should fade… hopefully haha, good luck
