a friend of mine told me that we could use their season tickets to get into universal studios in orlando. is this true? can someone use someone else’s season pass to get in?

Universal Studios and Islands of Adventure both take biometric finger scans. So do Disney and Sea World now. If you refuse to put your finger on the scanner, they will request photo ID. If you refuse photo ID, security will be called.There is a reason it’s your FRIENDS season pass. Season passes are nontrasnferable and the biometric scan data is stored on a special computer system. There is no way to bypass this, unless you encounter a broken scanner or incredibly lax employee. I am a season pass holder at both Disney World and Universal Orlando and have NEVER been able to gain access into the parks without submitting my finger to the scan. If you attempt this and are caught, not only can your friend lose his pass, you can both be ‘banned’ from Universal property for the forseeable future, and brought up on legal charges. When you purchase a seasonal pass, and sign the back, you are entering into a legal contract that explicitly states that the ticket media is non-transferable and is to be used only by the owner. Is it really worth the sixty something bucks it costs to get into Universal? I can answer that for you: No. It isn’t.

When we were there in June we had the 2 day pass and each time we entered the park they had our fingers scanned. I am not sure if they use the same type of system for the season pass, but I would guess they do. My kids, because they were under the adult price, did not have to scan.

Well i do it alll the time, as a matter of fact i just did it last week. This is how, when you are walking up to the entrance look at every ticket booth thing and look for the booth where the person just collects the ticket and doesnt finger print you and stand in that line. Then you will get in okay but if you go into the fingerprinting line and get caught your friends pass will be taken away and he will be pissed.

you used to be able to at disney, but i dont think you can. now they have that fancy fingerprint and picture stuff. its also easier if your not an adult cuz they dont really check kids much, and teens sometimes.
