You can get a white gold band and a lifetime warranty for much cheaper than platinum, while it does not look, feel, or sound “cheap.” It does not have to be re-dipped every year, most people get it done every 5-8 years. Some never do. (I’ve had mine for over a year, and no fading. Even if I want to get it dipped, that is covered in my zales lifetime warranty and is totally free.)
