What are two advantages and two disadvantages of using the process of sublimation to separate mixtures?

Advantages:

1. Fast – because you turn a solid into a gas and condense it immediately.

2. Clean – whatever you sublime, you get back the same purity.

Disadvantages

1. Recovery may not be complete – the fumes may be blown away.

2. Non-sublimable agent may decompose under heat.
