what do you think about men wearing promise rings?
I would like to get my boyfriend a promise ring, but I'm curious about what others think of them. What are your opinions on promise rings for men? Do you see them as meaningful gestures, or do you think they are unnecessary? I'd appreciate hearing your thoughts and experiences on this topic.

Wearing a promise ring isn’t gay, but for a guy, you just need to be careful how you approach that. Make sure that he is definitely on the same page that you are on before you even attempt something like that. And if you find out that he is on the same page, then a promise ring can be anything. It’s more important that it’s the symbol that you two care and love each other. A promise ring doesn’t have to be some skinny girly looking ring, it can just look like any other band and it could even have some design long it or whatever you think that he will like. It’s a cute symbol and it’s definitely meaningful if a guy is promising that much to you.
It’s not exactly a tradition set in stone, it’s a new thing to say, “I sort of want to commit to you eventually but not yet so here’s something to make you feel like I just said more than I did”. Usually it’s the girl looking for more reassurance that the relationship is something deep, not just transient, so it’s usually guys who give them to girls. It’s not exclusive, though; if the guy actually wants to feel more bonded together and the girl is more iffy on the commitment thing, he might get one too. If you’re “promising” to promise something later, does that actually mean anything? Why not just get engaged? If you can’t or don’t want to get engaged, doesn’t that mean that your promise is probably going to fall through anyway? I have yet to know anyone who had a promise ring actually marry the person they were in that relationship with. Ironic; a promise ring is really a kiss of death for a long-term relationship.

i want to get my boyfriend a promise ring, but im just wondering what others opinions are on them? what do you think about them?
I think unless the guy is 100% willing to wear the ring and is excited about the ring Its a good idea. If he is kinda iffy about the whole think i would sudgest not because men sometimes take that as a joke.
I’m a dude and I got a silver promise ring that I’ve wore for two years. Im proud that my gf got it for me:) He should love it and the gesture, you sound like a sweet girl and you’ll make him very happy, so yes Promise ring = good.
If you want a boyfriend so bad, then I highly recommend following this https://bitly.im/aOotz Since you’ve never dated or been kissed before, it’s going to be hard to get a boyfriend if you don’t know what to do but once you know what to do, you’ll be able to get a boyfriend pretty easily and can share your dating stories with your friends and experience those feelings yourself. You’ll even be able to attract guys you might feel is out of your league. I suggest going on a bunch of dates before choosing one guy to be your boyfriend. Have fun.
No, I think it’s a relationship breaker only because it emasculates him. Let him buy you the jewelry. My opinion is that you don’t trust him or he’s been pulling away from you. It won’t save the relationship if that is the case. Buy him something that he will really like. Good luck!
I dont think rings are something that are vital to show you are dedicated to your mate. And he may be ok with wearing it, but it makes me wonder why you want to put one on him.
