Is eating dryer lint healthy?
Is eating dryer lint healthy? An acquaintance mentioned that it is high in protein, but I'm not particularly fond of the taste. Can anyone provide more information on the nutritional value and safety of consuming dryer lint?

Basically dryer lint is comprised of hair, dust, and dirt and string.
Hair is made of protein as is every other part of an orrganism so i suppose it has proein but it is not high in it ; meat it higher in protien. To be honest dust is bug crap so thats out. Dirt is dirt so thats out. And string is string.
I’d say no and its not only gross but it is probably not good for your digestive system.

There’s nothing in it really, its just celulose fibers. You don’t really digest it. It’s not good to eat though, because there may still be detergent, bleach, ect in the lint that may posion you.
