Is nitrogen trichloride (NCl3) a polar or nonpolar molecule? Additionally, what type of bonds does it contain—are they polar or nonpolar?

NCl3 has a net dipole moment so it is polar...however not nearly so much as OF2, or NF3..The difference in the EN between N and Cl is not great but the lone electron pair on N gives the molecule electronic asymmetry .

NCL3,polar molecule,because have lone pair.Formed in trigonal pyramidal shape.Polar bond.A covalent bond is polar if the covalent bond in the molecules is polar bond and the molecules is not symmetrical and have a nett dipole moment
