Is solder a conductor or an insulator?
Is solder considered a conductor or an insulator? I have a rosin-core solder that I believe contains lead. Can you clarify its conductive properties and any potential implications for its use in electrical applications?

All solders are very good conductors of electricity and heat, but not light or sound…!
Hope this properly answers your question

Stop and think.. if solder was an INSULATOR then HOW COULD IT PASS CURRENT OR VOLTAGE. Solder is and always has been an CONDUCTOR.
