Is whipped cream bad for you?!?
Is whipped cream, like Reddi-wip or similar products, unhealthy for you?

It is a milk product but has a high fat content so use sparingly if you are watching your calories or fat.
It is not particularly bad for you if you are a healthy person…
If it’s the kind you buy in a can/tub that’s already made, then yes; it is bad for you.
It is highly processed with high-fructose cornsyrups, trans fats, etc..
BUT if you buy WHIPPING CREAM and actually make the whipped cream yourself, it’s not so bad! ( Just very high in fat! )
So how about getting some whipping cream and whipping it yourself? 🙂 Add a little sugar and vanilla extract, and you’re good to go! ( You’ll know when it’s done ) It is absolutely DELICIOUS with fresh fruit folded into it, or on top of ice cream, frozen yogurt, pie.. even cake! ( Angel/Devil’s food cake, anyone? )
So the answer is yes and no.
Buy it in a can – bad for you.
Make it yourself – not so bad ( Just don’t eat a huge bowl of it, and it’s fine 🙂 )
Whipped cream is….cream that’s been whipped into a thick froth. It often has some sugar mixed in as well for flavor.
While cream contains calcium that you need for your bones, it also contains a lot of fat.
So…not so healthy for you on a regular basis.
You can read the nutrition information on the side of the can.

Whipped cream is made with heavy cream and sugar. Last time I checked both of those were bad for you.
Real whipped cream (don’t know about the canned stuff) is indeed real food, and in today’s world of laboratory synthetic chemical foods, that is saying something. I think real food made with real ingredients is better than the phony stuff. But the fat, protein, calcium, and sugar offered by whipped cream is readily available in other foods, easily overdone. If you account for it in your food budget, and don’t overdo those nutrients, then it is fine.
God I love spraying the Ready Whipped into my mouth. I finished an entire one the other day. Delicious and great in hot cocoa and sundaes of course.
Whipped cream is fattening, but luscious and delicious. The canned stuff is just greasy and nasty.
Nope, it’s healthy for you.
like i said, it’s healthy for you.
there’s milk in it, witch = Calcium.
