Meaning of this quote from Henry David Thoreau’s “Walden”?
What is the meaning of the following quote from Henry David Thoreau’s “Walden”? “If one advances confidently in the direction of his dreams, and endeavors to live the life which he has imagined, he will meet success unexpected in common hours.” I would appreciate insights into how this quote reflects Thoreau's philosophy and its relevance to personal growth and achievement.

Some quotes have different meanings to different people. It all depends on how you perceive it. I haven’t read Walden, but I can understand this quote. Or atleast, I think I can.
Its basically saying you should always go for your dreams. Don’t doubt yourself. Because the life you dreamed of, maybe be easier to get than you think.
Or something like that.. If you have the hope and passion to go for something. You should, and if you do, you may be in for a good surprise. :3
To me the pursuit of one’s dreams is the pathway to the great life. One of the tenets of my philosophy of Life As Art is to take your highest dreams and one by one turn them into reality. Artists at Life posit that they are painting their masterpieces on a canvass of time and their brush stroke across that canvass are made up of the personal actions and experiences. Their palettes are the colors they choose–where do they let the light shine and the shadows fall? Those colors are intoned by their attitudes and dispositions. The challenge?–to paint the most beautiful picture possible.
