Microsoft Word keeps saying “Word is preparing to background print the document” it won’t load! HELP!?

I got a project due tomorrow and microsoft isn't letting me print because it's being too slow and that message is popping up toward the left corner of my window. I can't be patient I seriously been waiting for an hour or so! Someone asked a similar question to this one but I didn't find any of the answers useful. Please help! Thank you.

I have Word 2007 so I will give some direction for that version.In Word Options, Advanced, Print turn off background printing.Make sure that the printer driver is up to date. Download and run Ccleaner to clean up the temporary files that are on your computer. Reboot and immediately open Word and turn on your printer and try to print the document. If this fails open the document, copy the document and paste into a new document as the original document may be corrupted in some fashion.
