PayPal Payment — Automatic Monthly Billing — Thank you?
Hi, I keep receiving large monthly bills on my eBay account, even though I haven't sold anything in about six months! It seems that quite a lot of people are experiencing these mysterious charges. The money is being taken straight out of my account, and I feel this must be illegal! How can I stop these payments? Someone mentioned that I should go to my PayPal account and click on the "Profile" tab, but I can't find a 'Profile' tab anywhere. Can someone please help me? It's frustrating to think that they might be profiting from taking money from people with these monthly bills for nothing!

When you log into your paypal account you will have a top row of tabs, under that should be a small section of tabs, "profile" is on the smaller tabs.
Your paypal account is not the problem, your problem is that Ebay is billing you and is authorized by you to take the money direct from your paypal funds. You will have to change your billing options direct through your Ebay account.
In Ebay when you are in your account if you click on the account summary or "my Ebay" tab, you should see a tab on that page that says "Account" follow that link and change your automatic billing.
You also need to speak with Ebay about the bills, I have sold for over 11 years and have never had a bogus charge, you need to make sure someone has not stolen your account. Also note you will be required to enter another means of payment, like a credit card or you will not be able to sell.

Did you sell something? Buyers don't pay Ebay fees just sellers. If you go into "My Ebay" then "My account" it lists your fees there and should explain in detail what you have been charged for. If you think there has been a mistake contact them through their help pages.
This seems to happen alot.
People getting charged monthly by Ebay even when they haven't sold anything:

could be sellers fees. Go to my ebay, account, and you can select the different invoices for different months. Find the month this is referring to and you should be able to see why they charged you. Hope this helps
