What does "dougie" mean in the song "Teach Me How to Dougie"? I'm curious about the significance of this term and how it relates to the overall message of the song.

If you know anything about hip-hop, You know Doug E-Fresh, The dance is based off of his dance. Go watch some of his videos & than go watch people dougie on YouTube, You’ll see it.
PS. Doug E Fresh is an old school rapper like 80’s old school : D

This is just like asking why does soulja boy keep making songs. Teach me how to dougie is no better than pretty boy swagg, stanky leg, or jerk. These songs are made because they want to make money and be known. but if you come out wit a song that has a dance to it, no matter how stupid it is, it is going to be on the radio and all around. Another thing, the songs are just catchy.
