What does fuel range mean?
My car displays "Fuel Range: 380 miles." Does this mean I can drive 380 miles on a full tank of gas?

If you’re looking at that number in your car’s trip computer, it means that you can go 380 miles on the fuel you have remaining in your tank. That number is based on your car’s calculated current fuel economy.
If you’re looking at that number on a sticker that was attached to the car when you bought it, it means that’s the car’s maximum range on a full tank of fuel. That number is based on the EPA’s estimated fuel economy for that particular make and model.
what does fuel range mean? It’s a bit difficult to understand your question, need to know a little bit about the vehicle first. In a general sense fuel range can mean a variety of set automotive engineering standards. Most if now all vehicles get a greater fuel range when being driven on an expressway versus that stop & go city driving jazz. A vehicles fuel range can also be determined by that (fuel to air ratio equation too) (F1-A2-T1+P3=>Mc) in regards to that fuel injection physics which consists of a high pressure injection method primarily suited to instantly atomize fuel droplets for maximum combustion doesn’t hold a candle to those old-fashion multivalve carburetors.
