what does National Hub mean on parcel force?

i sold a item to someone but they never paid me for it ive contacted parcel force to stop the item i had a police crime number to back this up, now when i try tracking the item on line it say’s the item is in National Hub. what does this mean ?

In distribution a hub is a central interchange point. A national hub, presumably means they have just the one hub, which I doubt..the hub concentrates parcels into loads for forwarding to the next step in the delivery proceess (effectively the hub collects all parcels in its region/zove, those that are for delivery in that area reamin in thre hub, and get ent to the delivery depot for final sorting, all parcels for London, Manchester, wherever are sorted into load for delivery by truck to the hub in London, the Hub in Manchester where they are sorted again (or broken down from the bulk load into final delivery routesyou take your parcel to the post office, they forward to Parcelforce who take it to their nearest hub (think huge sorting office) where parcels are sorted into areas or zones. the parcel gets moved from that hub to either another hub, nearer the delivery address, and then to the delivery depot for final delivery to the addressee if the organisation operates a single hub then obviously the hub to hub trip is missed out... no, a national hub is the national sorting centre, this is where packages get fed to machines to sort into the delivery depot, from national hub then to delivery depot then delivery vehicle to your address, usually from hub to door would be next day, unless you paid for sameday delivery!...
