what does ping mean on internet?

When I run a test to check my internet speed, it shows me a value for "ping." What does this mean? Thank you, Zack.

A ping is just a measurement of how long it takes for you’re computer and the server to communicate. It is almost always measured it milliseconds. So a ping of 50 would mean it would take 50 ms for your computer to send data to their server.... Show More
