I was in Manchester today and I saw some Japanese about this shop name and it said "shinasai" in hiragana. I was well proud that I could read it, but I didn't know what it meant. It said Shinasai. I had some kanji before it so I don't know if that's needed to know it's meaning but `does anyone know?

It's more than likely conjugated if there is kanji. しなさい could be, "please do" so, "please do ___" ie, please come inplease seat yourself, please help yourself, etc etc. Got a picture? If you do, then we can translate it from seeing kanji.
