What does "tsuki no me" mean? Can someone please explain?

月の目 (tsuki no me) means literally “eye of the moon”.
Google translate says it means “first day of the month”, but I don’t think that’s correct.
月 can mean “month” or “moon”
目 can mean “eye”, “look” or an ordinal number suffix.
