if u failed a semester in high school but passed the other semester do u have to take another year of the same class? or you only have to make up the semester you failed?

probably not.when i went to school, for example: in my history classes there were 4 quarters. I got F's in first 2 quarters and A's in the last 2. It averaged out to a B and I passed the class which is the only thing that matters.But in the other case, I failed my 10th grade english class altogether. They said I had to go to summer school but I chose not to because even if I finish everything else in my curriculum, I'll graduate. So I took 10th grade english and 11th grade english at the same time. my high school years went like this: 9th grade, 10th grade, 10th grade, 12th gradeI do not recommend this for everyone though because colleges look down on this a LOT. only reason how I got into a good university was because of my unusually high SAT scores and good interviewing
