For example, they could automate the reception and have them routed to you where you have a computer with complaint forms so you can get complete details and post for management to act upon, and establish, as a matter of policy, a time limit for feedback to the customer with a tickler to remind you and management when the customer must be called back to be informed of the status of the issue. (You make the call if the management doesn’t to let them know the company is aware.) Also, if you have a computer to note details of issues, that same computer could use google maps to get directions for you to give the customer. But from what you describe, it is time to get your resume out where it can be seen by other employers, because you obviously care about te customers. THat makes you golden in a reception/sales position, and a better person to manage such issues and other receptionists.... Show More
