My father had just took out $30 from his bank account and his available money did not change but his ending balance number changed by 30 and i dnt understand what is ending balance? and i dnt understand why his available money did not change but his ending balance did?

his available balance HAD to change by $30.00, as did his ending balance. Ending balance is what is left after he made any transaction. If he has $100.00 and takes out $30.00, his ending balance is $70.00. (100-30=70).His available balance is any money his has in the bank that have already “cleared.” In other words, he may make a deposit but it is with a check from out of town. The bank will tell him that money is “not available” until a certain date. So he has that original $100.00 and all is available. Now he makes a deposit of $200.00 with an out of town check. The bank may tell him none of that is available until the next day. So his ending balance is 100+200+300, but his available balance is still only $100.00

maybe by now you have guessed “ending balance” = current balance = what you have charged since the last billing cycle { which you paid off in full – good for you.} Yes, you get a bill every month, about the same time {Sundays and holidays may affect it, as might 28 days in Feb.} Don’t overthink it (lol).
