what is the uncertainty of a micro meter and vernier calliper???!!!?
What is the uncertainty associated with a micrometer and a vernier caliper? Additionally, could you provide insights related to their use in a lab report?

This should be given on the calibration report which goes with it.
If it hasn’t got one a rough indication, I would say about 0.005 mm for the micrometer, or about 0.2 thou.
For the calliper, if it is a vernier indication, the accuracy should be around 0.05 mm or 2 thou.
If it is a digital calliper, this can be going down to 0.01 mm, or 0.4 thou.
