Where can I find the lyrics to that Brazilian song, “Hey, Magdalena”?

I've heard this Brazilian song several times, and I'm trying to find its lyrics. It's in 4/4 time and has a constant drumbeat in the background, creating a kind of jungle-inspired rhythm. The chorus features an informal-sounding group of people singing together, and the lyrics are in Portuguese. The song is called "Hey, Magdalena." Can anyone help me locate the lyrics?

The song is “Magalenha” by Sergio Mendez.

For the usual suspects: Elvis Costello: The last lines in ‘Welcome to the Working Week’: Why do you wanna be my friend when I feel like a juggler running out of hands? ‘… And In Every Home,’ probably the silliest orchestration Costello’s ever done, starts “You turn to the sinister when you get the boot” and has the line later “‘He’s in prison, now she’s running with his mates.” It’s a fun contrast between the seedy small-time crook lyrics and the intentionally overblown orchestration thanks to Steve Nieve. Warren Zevon: Run Straight Down – I think it’s off of Transverse City. ‘Play It All Night Long’: “Sweet home Alabama, play that dead man’s song / Turn those speakers up full blast, play it all night long” Also: Run Through the Jungle – CCR Man on the Run – Cowboy Mouth

Hey!

Ha!

Ooh!

There was a man

A little ole man

Who lived in Montreal

With a wife and a kid

And a car and a house

And a teenage daughter

With a see-thru blouse

Who loved to grunt and ball-

And her name was Magdalena

Magdalena . . .

The little ole man

Came home one night

To his house in Montreal.

He caught his daughter

In the blouse by the light

And he said to himself:

“She looks all right!”

And he reached for a tit

And grabbed it tight

And threw her up

Against the wall

(BLUE CROSS!)

Magdalena . . .

My daughter dear,

Do not be concerned when your

Canadian daddy comes near.

My daughter dear

Do not be concerned when your

Canadian daddy comes near.

I work so hard,

Don’t you understand,

Making maple syrup

For the pancakes of our land.

Do you have any idea?

What that can do to a man?

What that can do to a man?

Do you have any idea?

What that can do to a man?

What that can do to a man?

The little ole man

With the grubby little hand

Who lived in Montreal

Was drooling a bit

As he reached for her tit

And he said to himself:

“This is gonna be it!”

But the girl turned around

And said: “Go eat ****!”

And ran on down the hall.

Right on, Magdalena!

My daughter dear,

Do not be concerned when your

Canadian daddy comes near.

My daughter dear

Do not be concerned when your

Canadian daddy comes near.

I work so hard,

Don’t you understand,

Making maple syrup

For the pancakes of our land.

Do you have any idea?
