Where I work I sometimes have to process credit/debit cards and sometimes those cards say AP DUPE. Definition?
In my workplace, I sometimes need to process credit and debit card transactions. Occasionally, these cards display the abbreviation "AP DUPE." Could someone provide a definition of what "AP DUPE" means in this context?

Sometimes credit card processing companies prohibit back-to-back transactions from the same merchant. If you’re getting this message, either someone else at your company processed the transaction or when you ran the card the transaction was inadvertently processed more than once.
