The right answer is All cells require ATP for energy.Cell theory is the central and principal theory of cell biology and the most recognized foundation of biology in general. The 3 basic principles of the theory are:* Living organisms are composed by 1 or more cells.* The cell is elementary of life. * Every cell comes from another cell, by biogenesis. The common points of the cells are:* Every cell has genetic information in the form of DNA which by various processes is expressed in other forms (RNA, proteins, ribosomes ...) that influence its functioning. This causes among other things the phenomenon of cellular differentiation.* All cells can divide (see mitosis). * Cells acquire and use energy through cellular metabolism (photosynthesis, glycolysis, respiration).* Cells use mechanical forces to cohere, maintain, and transform tissues when they associate.
All cells require ATP for energyExplanation:The first three statements are related to cell theory as they consider the cell as the structural and functional brick for living cells ("All living things are made of cells" and "Cells are the basic unit of function in living things") or describe a biological mechanism to explain the continuity of life ("All cells come from other cells"). The discovery of the fact that "All cells require ATP for energy" does not directly provide specific evidence for supporting the cell theory as this theory could be valid even if ATP wouldn't be the chemical energy source for the cell.

Credit for developing cell theory is usually given to two scientists: Theodore Schwann and Matthias Jacob Schneider. While Rudolf Virchow contributed to the theory, he is not as credited for his attributions toward it.
