Why did this girl turn me away, but she flirts with every other boy under the sun?

I’m 14 and I asked this girl out, but she essentially turned me down, without actually saying no (in the sense that she just tried to weasel her way out of it). After that, she basically flirted with like 7 or 8 other guys, some of which she dated (usually only for a week). They all said how weird and annoying she is. So why would she like jerks like them (most of which are really unattractive) instead of me? I’ve been nothing but nice but I’m just pushed aside
