Why do people think that mexican girls are so ugly?

I do not think Mexican women are ugly, but the media does prefer to use light-skinned Latinas over the more Amerindian looking ones (which are more exotic and beautiful in my opinion), just like they prefer Asians with longer noses and less slanted eyes (they even got one Asian girl to get eye surgery to appear on Glee!) and Black women who have more White admixture.

Most people are too stupid to form their own opinions and follow everything the media tells them, even the ones who supposedly have different opinions from the media the programming is still traceable in them. Humans are a pathetic race. Ignore them and move on, you’re better than the minds of the sheep.

I agree, the ideal of beauty is the opposite of a Black woman, and it is also due to the perception she is Black. I knew a White guy who liked me coz he thought I was Latina but he got a little turned off (or dissapointed?) when I told him I was White/Black instead. lol

The media always chooses to use non-White people who are as caucasian looking as possible to represent their respective race. It’s a way for them to “include” everyone, while still promoting the idea of White beauty. Most of the “Black” women in the media are very light skinned and/or mixed, most Bollywood actresses are way lighter skinned than an average Indian women (and often have colored eyes), most of the Asian women used are super pale skinned with rounded eyes (you’d never see a Filipina or Cambodian woman representing Asian beauty), and most of the Latinas are either White or at least mostly White (you NEVER see Latinas who look strongly Amerindian or Black).

I personally don’t think that Mexican women are ugly at all. There are pretty ones, and less pretty ones, just like every other ethnicity. I know one half Mexican girl (who looks full Mexican), and she is one of the prettiest girls I have ever seen.

I definitely noticed that most of the popular Mexican celebrities are White or at least mostly White though. The only ones with obvious Amerindian blood who I can think of off of the bat right now are George Lopez and Paula DeAnda. It’s sad.

haha girl, this is funny. I am white and have lived in the Rio Grande Valley of Texas my entire life. I grew up where I was outnumbered 10-1 and I can tell you that Mexican women are great. I have lost count on how many I have dated and even married one (she died unfortunately). Mexican women are the best thing on this earth and I adore them.

It’s the same with black women also, which is dumb! My thing is: there are very pretty women in all races and then very ugly. Don’t get me wrong… Stereotypes and generalizations are there for a reason, but not all the time true.

First thing you need to take note: Mexico is the 1st place worldwide in obesity, with that in mind you can easy figure out why many Mexican women that can be pretty are fat = ugly.

Second: Yes there are a lot of beautiful women in mexico, the problem is that our culture is very misogyny, meaning that if a woman is cute is educated in a way that she must expect the world orbiting around her because she is beautiful (you are beautiful, you don’t need to effort, you can find a wealthy man that will solve your problems), and in fact, that is the reality, all the beautiful Mexican women are the stereotype of a brainless barbie, some of them can marry with wealthy men, the other ones end their life as fashion prostitutes.

Third: Yes, we have an issue with our genetics, that is not the beauty expectation of the the magazine covers, not for the skin color, but for the stature and body complexity.

I’m around 40’s I traveled other countries, and you know beauty is not only body, is also mind, and find the combination between beauty and an acceptable level of intelligence in a woman in Mexico is much more difficult than in other countries, I guarantee.

Yes you can find a lot of pretty women in mexico, but is difficult and in most of the cases you can talk with this women 20 minutes and figure out that they are brainless.

In my personal experience, in all my life living here I only knew two women that are actually beautiful and intelligent, and I have knew many women in my life

I can’t view your picture, but I am sure that you are not ugly by any means. I actually find Amerindian looks to be attractive. What people say, especially over in the USA, should hold no relevance. If you’re not a nordic looking blue eyed, blonde haired woman, then you’re not hot to them. Opinion on looks is NOT a fact, even if it comes from a whole nation.

They see a few on television and they generalise. Exactly the same with everyone; everyone generalises and says that an entire group of people are ugly. Doubt that they’ve met many.

Black women seem to be the hot topic of this section. People always seem to attack them for no good reason, it’s a little sad…I guess it’s insecurities or something. Oh well.
