Why does my dog keep peeing on me?
I’m not joking. I’ll be sitting next to my dog, reading or doing something else, and he’ll lift his leg right on me—this has happened twice now. Does he dislike me or something? Also, he's a boxer; could that have anything to do with his behavior?

jepp, he is claiming you as his, hehe. You need to show him that you are the leader of the pack, cause he’s obviously thinking it’s him.
This does not means he loves you any less 🙂
A good way to do that, is for example to take a dominant role when walking him. When you meet other dogs, you great them first. Always tell him that you are the one to protect him, not him you. Literally tell him over and over again and show it with your approach to other people and dogs.
A lot of people get dogs for protection, and that is perfectly fine, but if you are scared and put your dog in front of you, he will assume that you are nr 2 in the group. You are the leader, you take first move. Even put him behind you, especially if you meet other dogs that her reacts negative/dominant towards, until you get out of the situation.
And this should go without saying, but it unfortunately needs to be said over and over again, do NOT hit you dog!! it’s f…king pathetic behavior and people that do that don’t deserve the love animals give you. They are obviously not interested in learning how to get a dog trained. If you can’t raise an animal ( or kid) without violence, you suck at being an owner/caregiver and should let someone who gives a damn the opportunity to give the animal a fair chance in life.
I’m sure you agree!

When he pee’s on you, has it been a while since you have taken him outside? My dog does it too, he’s about to be a year, and he knows where to go, but sometimes he’s just very disrespectful. I’ll be sitting down and he’ll lift his leg and pee where ever, but I punish him and he IS NEUTERED. So I know its not dominance because he is VERY afraid of me.
What I’m trying to say is, that it might be a dominance thing, it might just be his way of telling you he really had to go, but either way its wrong. I’m trying to find ways to correct this but I can’t seem to find answers…
the bad thing about it is that once a dog pees somewhere they want to do it over and over again. He’s marking his territory. How old is he? Best thing to do is to tell him NO! and immediately take him where you want him to go pee. Do this EVERY time.
He’s marking his territory. Call the Dog Whisperer, pee on him back or get(kidding) or seriously, do an internet search on how to correct this. I don’t think its a good idea that your dog will think he is above you in the “pack”.

I’m not kidding. I’ll be sitting next to him reading or something and he’ll lift his leg right on me, for the second time now. Does he hate me or something? D:
And he’s a boxer, if that might have anything to do with it.
He might be determining who is the pack leader and who isnt
You better teach him right or you really will end up regreting it having a dominant instead of submissive dog
Look up how to train your dog or go to training classes
that may help you
Or maybe you need to potty train him
Is he neutered?? if he’s not That could be one good reason. He’s marking on you. NEUTER HIM.
Contact your local humane society…they’re very affordable…all my dogs got spayed/neutered there.
Males-neutering
* Risk of testicular cancer is eliminated and decreases chance of prostate disease
* Decreases aggressive behavior, including dog bites
* Reduces or eliminates risk of spraying and marking
* Less desire to roam and therefore less likely to be injured in fights or auto accidents
* Reduces the number of unwanted dogs and cats
* Helps the animal live a longer and healthier life
Maybe he marked you as his territory.
Try showing him where to pee…it sound like a new dog to me.
