why does the wizard refer to Oz as “E. Pluribus Unum”? what does it mean?

The Wizard was referring to the United States, not Oz. He said he came from “the land of e. pluribus unum”…which was an early motto of the US prior to In God We Trust. It means…”Out of Many, One”... Show More
