will a typical scanner available in retail stores be capable of scanning about 7000 artworks?

The artworks are small, about no larger than an 8.5 by 11 in piece of paper.  I have upwards of 7500 of them.  If I buy a scanner at Best Buy or something, will it be able to scan all of them before it breaks?

probably .. i have a scanner from like the year 2000 i used to scan several thousand photos onto my puter and its still fine .. i break it out now and then for a document scan etc ..... Show More
