An article appeared in yesterday’s (October 17, 2016) Boston Tribune titled "First Grandma to Receive $160K Lifetime Pension." Marian Robinson is Michelle Obama's mother. When the Obamas moved into the White House in 2008, Grandma Robinson came along to care for her grandchildren, Malia and Sasha. When the Obamas leave the White House in January 2017, Robinson will receive a lifetime pension of $160,000 per year for her eight years of "service"—caring for her own grandchildren, mind you—all funded by taxpayer dollars. In my opinion, she should not receive a single dime! The Boston Tribune article states that it confirmed this information through a Freedom of Information request.

First, "BostonTribune.com" is a spoof news site. Nothing on it is real news.
Second, it takes all of 20 seconds to put tis 'story' into Snopes and find out that it's a spoof.

That story you read was fake, it appeared on a fake news site. There is no lifetime pension for the grandma, nor would there be for anyone who had actually done that job.
