anime about mechanics?
I am seeking recommendations for anime that focuses on mechanics. I have a particular interest in steampunk-themed series, where characters engage in the repair and creation of mechanical devices. Are there any anime titles that primarily explore themes of mechanics and craftsmanship? Thank you! ^_^

Ah! My Goddess! has a strong motor sports theme & the main character is a mechanic/student, & there’s a mecha genius girl, though it’s not the primary theme of the anime. It’s not your typical steampunk either – the world’s basically normal except spirits etc follow fringe metaphysical laws, however heaven is equated to a computer system.
