Can I get a job as a prep cook without any kitchen experience?
I am 23 years old and interested in working as a prep cook in a kitchen. I am very hands-on and don’t mind working long hours. I have five years of experience as a server and one year as a bartender, but I am eager to transition to the back of the house. However, I have never worked in that area before. Is it possible for me to get a job as a prep cook without any prior experience in that position? Thank you!
