can i hide a belly button piercing from my parents?

If u get it pierced in the fall it will heal in 6 months so after 6 months take it out if u go swimming or something ... I don't see how they would even know you got it pierced unless u go on like vacation or go swimming

well if its during the winter, im sure you wont be wearing bathing suits, or be showing off your belly button!! but sometimes it will show thru you clothes, for example when ur wearing pjs or tight tops.

im sure you can get away with it, but have you thought about the possibility of an infection, who would take you to the doc? would you be able to take responsibility for yourself? or would you depend on your parents?

i dont know where you live, but where i live minors are not allowed to get piercings or tattoos, unless the parents sign!

If you wear a small stud around them then yes, and if you don't wear revealing clothes or bathing suits. I had a lip piercing when i was about your age, and I regret it till this day, I took it out within about 7 months, and 5 years later i still have the scar:(

Well I heard that you can put a clear retainer into the piercing to keep the shape when there is no jewelry in it. It seems a lot less noticeable than a normal piercing would be... inconspicuous enough that your parents wouldn't notice... I don't know.

just clean it good. dont touch it alot. and uhhh this may sound weird but like make sure that before getting it done, you shave the belly area. its like really grosss if you dont. it could cause infection > ;o

yes you can hide it. I got it done and i've been hiding it since. Be careful tho don't let anyone touch ur stomach cause they can totally feel like. Wear loose clothing.

yes. wait til its fully healed then get a retainer. but retainers rnt for permanent wear, so only wear it 4 like a day then change it bak to a reg stud/hoop. but u cant see it thru ur shirt unless u wear like skin tight shirts.

umm well first off make sure it doesn't get infected, otherwise they will find out!! keep it super clean and profesionally done! buy ya there prob will be scars, but u can cover it easily with makeup!
