Can I get into York University with this average?

Question

Hello by the time I submit the six marks needed to apply for university I will be at a 80%. What I applied for was mainly in the health department, kinesiology, psychology etc and for a ba might I add. My worry is that although my average is 80% one of my marks that makes up that average is a 60%. Do universities look at the marks separately or as an average. Thanks in advance for any help you can offer:)

In general, and 80% average is good for universities. And they tend to not look or care about individual marks so much. On a rare occasion they will, but only if that course highly pertains to what you’re applying for. Highly unlikely though. You need mid 70’s for both psych and kine BA http://www.electronicinfo.ca/en/program-details.ph…http://www.electronicinfo.ca/en/program-details.ph…Universities mostly look at your average. But I think some universities consider English independently since it’s required for all courses. What subject was your 60? If you got the 60 in English, they might consider it. I think most universities look for 70+ in English. Other thank that, you have a chance at getting in.
