Can I work out after a root canal?

I just received a root canal, and I’d really like to go to the gym. I’ve been hearing its not the best idea to lift weights after such a procedure and it could cause an infection.

You’ll be fine to work out. The root canal will cause no problem that can’t be taken care of with a mild dose of anit-inflammatory like Advil for discomfort. The work-out will not affect the occurrence of infection and bleeding is not a problem... Show More

I don’t know about the infection but it could cause bleeding. It is probably best to take it easy for a day or two.... Show More

If your feeling okay you should be okay, root canal are not exractions where you have an open wound. If your not feeling any pain then go ahead and work out.... Show More
