freebasing” cocaine is, dissolving the cocaine alkaloid from its white powder base to create a smokable form of pure cocaine. Ether is used to remove the hydrochloride base,(coke is cocaine HCl) which does not burn. The smoked cocaine goes straight into the bloodstream and gives a quicker and stronger high. Free-basing with ether can be dangerous because if any ether remains in the freebase cocaine, it can quickly ignite into flames when smoked. The comedian Richard Pryor, was severely burned when he freebased cocaine.Besides freebase cocaine, there is another form of smokable cocaine, called “crack,” (also commonly known as “Ready Rock” b/c it’s a rock like structure that is ready to be smoked with no additional prep needed.) Crack aka Ready Rock has the local street name of “Girl” with “Boy” being used for “Heroin”(all most always Raw Heroin and not scramble [60%-80% pure vs. 10%-20% pure respectively]. The smoked crack gives a fast and potent high. Crack is safer and easier to obtain than freebase cocaine because baking soda is used instead of ether to remove the hydrochloride. The baking soda produces a pure form of cocaine in small pellets that can be smoked in a pipe (where it makes the crackling sound that gave this form of cocaine its name). The pure cocaine is obtainable only in ideal situations and not actually achieved as the soda also acts as a carrier that replaces the HCl and is what also produces the crackle sound and not solely resulting from pure cocaine. In addition excessive baking soda can be added to the crack at any point prior to consumption, which produces a whiter (as coke usually has a slight yellow tint when very pure) it also becomes softer and will start to look more and more like course baking soda the more that is added. this will also leave large amounts of residue that will clog the coy boy copper filter (for those using glass coy pipe) and the ash if using an ash pipe(never use ash pipes you loose the last few “push hits” which can be the strongest hits of the day, plus it tastes much better.) Glass rose pipes and coy are cheap, available at most gas stations in the city and are legal until used for illegal purposes. Increased soda content is obviously done to increase the per bag weight so as to make each bag look bigger/fuller with out using anymore cocaine. This can be reversed by recooking the crack in water which will remove the excess baking soda and will intially leave pure cocaine while still warm and is an oilly looking medium (the purer the cocaine the yellower the “coke oil” will be) As it cools down dip into it using a nail or similiar tool. Some of the soda in the water will be returned to the oil so as to harden the product(yet it is possible to retain a very sticky thick crack, as being w/ little soda and strong. As you dip and it cools you can place the oilly coke on your coy pipe or weed. You can even do it on a cig. and save it for later if you want. As you can treat it almost like hash oil.
