Does anyone know who and what the title of the song is?

Does anyone know the title of the song and the artist? I remember a line that goes something like, “Go, my son, go get an education, go, my son.” It’s a song I used to hear back in the day, but I can’t recall the full lyrics. Any help would be appreciated!

Go My Son (and climb the ladder)

The lyrics are by Carnes Burson and Arlene Nofchissey Williams; song of the BYU Student Service Association and the Native American student body at Brigham Young University. It was put out by the LDS for their Indian Seminary programme. It was also sung by Kansas K. Begaye on “Beauty of the Spirit,” 2004.

Go my son, go and climb the ladder.

Go my son, go and earn your feather.

go my son, make your people proud of you.

work my son, get an education.

work my son, learn a good vocation

Climb my son, go and take a lofty view.

From on the ladder of an education.

You can see to help your indian nation.

Reach my son, and lift your people up with you.

Trust Me? Holdin On? Crazy Dream? Only A Dream? Here I Am? Zero Gravity? My Tears? Cry Me A River? Remember Me? Scared Of You? Just Another Crush? Save Me? Mixed Up? Changing Your Life? One More Breath? Don’t Move? Haunting? Another Day Without You? Permanent Marker? Faith In You? A Part Of Me? Desperate? Run To Me? That’s all I can think of. I hope this helps a little bit. ?
